I have a sequel to the story Vampires in the Basement. I will post it but I just don't like the story anymore. It's too complicated and everything seems to be all over the place. I am posting it because I need to see the differences between how I could write before and how I am able to write now. But I am not sure if I am going to post the sequel first or if I will post a new story I am working on.
For the Vampires in the Basement, if you cut down on the amount of characters and go a little more slowly on all the different events occurring, it'd be less complicated. I noticed that you introduced a vampire which completely freaked everyone out, but then you dropped that idea and started talking about relationship problems between various people. If you want to continue with the story, you just need to edit it. You could ask Kim for some help since she just read an article about revising in Reader's Digest. She's going through the editing process of a novel she wrote.
ReplyDeleteYou did the first part of writing, but revision is always a process of writing so you can make it better.
